Natural Health Advocate, Real Estate Pro & Storyteller
Who am I, and why did I create this website?
That’s a fair question – and one I’ve thought about a lot. This site is the result of a lifetime of experience, curiosity, faith, hard work, and a deep desire to help others navigate their own journeys. Whether you’re looking for practical resources, real-life stories, or just someone who ‘gets-it’ – you’ve come to the right place. I live in Tennessee – but I loved growing up in Harlan County, KY – because it taught me the value of hard work and determination. And how to make-do with whatever you have.
From Healing to Homesteading – Real-Life Advice You Can Use
I’m Pam Rumley – a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and former real estate broker with over 30 years experience helping people find a place to call home. But my life has been more than contracts and closings. I’ve also spent decades studying natural health, earning a degree as a Doctor of Naturopathy and Master Herbalist. I didn’t pursue these studies out of curiosity alone – I’m allergic to most medications, so I had to learn how to take care of my health naturally. That’s where my passion began.
When Life Shifted: My Cancer Diagnosis and the Road Ahead
Then life threw me another challenge: a cancer diagnosis. It changed the pace of everything, but it didn’t dim my drive to keep learning, sharing, and giving back. In fact, it’s part of the reason I created this site—to share the real, raw, hopeful side of walking through hard things. In ‘The Big C-Word’ section, I’ll be sharing with you why I decided against any sort of chemotherapy – and what I am doing instead. I believe that I should ‘practice what I preach’ and do what I can naturally to heal. I’ll share the road I’m traveling with you and hopefully it will help you along your journey. Actually, it’s been quite remarkable so far!
I’ve always been more of a problem-solver than a socialite. I’m the kind of person who’d rather deliver a van full of groceries to a flood victim than dress up for a fancy event. I’ve organized community food drives, worked in Christian schools while raising three children, and helped my parents adjust to new seasons of life. Life hasn’t always been easy, but I’ve found joy in the journey.
When an accident left me unable to walk for a season, I didn’t just sit still—I used that time to create a series of activity books for seniors, stroke survivors, and anyone looking to keep their mind sharp and spirit lifted. That’s how this creative adventure got its start. And now I’m blending all of that—faith, family, health, hard-earned wisdom—into a website that offers something real.
Here you’ll find blog posts across the things I know and love:

Turning Life’s Lessons Into Purpose
This website is my way of giving back—to offer help, hope, and maybe a little humor. I’ve walked through more than a few tough seasons, and if sharing my journey helps you through yours, then it’s all worth it. I’ll be recommending some products that I think will help you. These are things I have used or using them now. Others are simply things I think would improve your life.
I hope you’ll take a few moments to explore, and maybe even share a story of your own. Because life is better when we learn from each other.
Please let me hear from you! I want to hear your story and how you overcame adversity. Just contact me.
